I have been asked many, many times just how one goes about CREATING
a 'Synastry Chart' and then, of course, HOW TO USE
it.
In 'Synastry', you want to study the 'Aspects'
between the Natal Charts of the two individuals in question; for
it is the 'Aspects' that will tell-the-tale as to how
well-suited, or not, two people are for each other.
This kind of Charting saves both time
and heartache because you can see fairly quickly just who is, (and
who isn't), worth pursuing-- BEFORE getting in too deep. And, of course,
you can use 'Synastry' for any kind of relationship, not just
romantic ones; such as one's parents, siblings, friends, teachers, co-workers,
bosses, doctors/dentists... anytime you are having to place your trust in
someone.
If you find it impossible to obtain the kind of information
required to do a proper 'Synastry Chart', but really need to
know if a certain person, or pet, (or anything really), is conducive to your
well-being, then use a Pendulum to make this determination.

Now then, to get started-- you first have to create a Natal
Chart for each person. As most people are not Astrologers, (thus
don't own Astrology Software), this can be done for free online; and
the best Charts you can get for free online come from Astro.com...

You will have to Register, then enter all the Birth
Information to get the Chart:
1. Date of Birth-- day, month,
year;
2. Time of Birth-- with am or pm; and,
3. Location of Birth-- city,
state, country
Again, all this is free, and, you can
create and save up to 100 Charts on their site.

(1) So, now that all this is done, click on
your name on the 'Stored Astro Data' page where you just created the Charts. You will be taken to a page of various Charts you can select.
(All the various Charts that you can select from are free, and fun, but check them out later! They are 'canned
reports', and no 'canned report' can tell you what you
really need to know. Why? Because a 'canned report' is computer-generated.
And no computer can ever take the place of a real, live Astrologer... who
sees so very much more in YOUR Chart than a computer ever could. This is precisely why 'canned reports' are free, whilst a real Astrologer charges a couple hundred dollars to read a Chart)
(2) As you are here to learn how to do
this for yourself, scroll all the way down until you
see on the bottom, right-hand side of the page, 'Extended Chart
Selection'. Click on it.
As I cannot post the whole page here, I will show it
to you in sections. This first section, at the top of the page, shows Your Name. Underneath that
is another box that shows the Partner's Name. Click
on that second box to choose the partner you want to create a Synastry Chart
with.
(3) Next, scroll down to where you see 'Natal
Chart Wheel' in the box. Click on that box and a menu will come up; choose
'Synastry Chart (2)'. It's the second choice from the top, just under 'Natal Chart Wheel'.
(4) Next, scroll down to where it says, 'Additional
Objects'. In the left-hand box, choose 'Part of Fortune'. On the
right-hand side, choose 'show Descending Node' and 'aspect lines to all'.
(5) Lastly, scroll down and click on
the 'BLUE BOX' that says, 'click here to show the chart'. The Synastry
Chart will now come-up on the page. Again, I have to break the page down into
sections.
The very top of the page will show the Names of the people
involved. You will also see a line that says, 'Additional tables (PDF)'--->
This is what you're truly after.
You will also see the 1st Person's Name and Birth Information
in a box underneath. And, under that, you will see the 2nd Person's Name, Birth Information, and the phrase, 'Comparison with'.
(6) Under all this is the actual 'Wheel'. And,
because you chose 'aspect lines to all', you will be able to see,
at-a-glance, not only the 1st Person's Planets in the 'Inner Ring', and the 2nd
Person's Planets in the 'Outer Ring', but the Aspects to each other, the Signs everything is in, and the Houses involved too.
(7) Now then, while all this is fascinating and worth
studying, let's get to the REAL TREASURE. Scroll back to where it says, 'Additional
tables (PDF)', and click on that.
A new window, (in the PDF format), will appear that has THREE THINGS on it.
The info on the 1st Person; the info on the 2nd Person; and,
finally, the 'POT OF GOLD' that we jumped thru all these hoops to get to:
the 'Aspects between both' Table.
(8) It is this 'Aspects between both' Table, (shown below), that you will use to quickly analyze how another will affect you, and how you
will affect them. Which, of course, tells you whether you have a real shot
at a happy and lasting relationship... or haven't a hope in hell of making it.
(9) Last, but certainly not least, get the book, 'Love Formulas- 2', by Nance
McCullough. She shows how to easily rate the 'Good-to-Bad
Aspect Ratios' from the 'Aspects between both' Table you just

Armed with your 'Aspects between both' Table,
and this book, you will find yourself with the ability to choose
wisely those people with whom you should have contact, and those you should
stay away from... especially when it comes to being struck by 'Cupid's
Arrow'. No longer will you have only your feelings to rely
on, (which are all too real; but, have given rise to every heartbreak song on the planet... songs like, 'You Give Love A Bad Name' by Bon Jovi).
Well, no more. Now you've got the Astrologer's way ~ the balance of feeling and reason. Your very real, and intense, 'feelings' for someone causes your 'reasonable mind' to cast the 'Synastry Chart'.
And the 'Synastry Chart' informs your hopeful feelings, and confirms to your reasonable mind with surety, with confidence, whether such a relationship can be a happily lasting one, or whether a
tragic heartbreak is waiting in the wings.
